PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Suprobhat Paul is an Associate Professor of Law at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Before he joined Jahangirnagar University as a Lecturer at the Department of Law & Justice in 2016, he was serving as a Lecturer of Law at Comilla University. As a founding member of Law Faculty at Comilla University, he made major contributions in developing its new syllabus and course curriculum. Prior to that he serverd as a Lecturer of the Department of Law & Human Rights at Varendra University, when he developed his now long-standing interest in teaching.
In 2021, Suprobhat Paul has completed LLM in Law and Economics -an Erasmus Mundus joint master degree programme- from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands and the University of Hamburg, Germany with receiving the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2020. Earlier, he studied law at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh and earned LLB (Honours) and LLM degrees with securing first position at the Faculty of Law in both levels. For his outstanding results in LLB (Honours) and LLM, he was awarded Prime Minister Gold Medal 2013, Rajshahi University (Agrani Bank) Gold Medal 2013, University Grants Commission Merit Scholarship 2013 and Rajshahi University (Agrani Bank) Gold Medal 2012.
